A few days back I went to start my Mac Mini M1 and the Apple mini wireless keyboard no longer accepts input from the number keys 1 through 8. My password has numeric digits so I am unable to log in. Does anyone have any tips on how to overcome this? I have another Apply wireless keyboard, but cannot get to the screen to set it up.

if it was me then I would get hold of any old usb keyboard any windows one would work fine
to login
and then I would maybe test the wireless keyboard with another device to verify it's a physical defect with those keys

Thanks, found one and that did the trick! Seems the keyboard has failed, setup one from my old iMac I am not currently using.
Numbers 1-8 won’t work on my Mac wireless mini keyboard so can’t log in (M1 Mini)
