Restrict Safari New Profiles

I’d like to think I do everything I can to protect my family on the internet. I have restrictions on. I have it to where history can not be deleted.

until today, I came across safari New Profiles. You can simply make a new profile. Browse as you please. And delete the profile. Which is pretty much private browsing. All one has to do is create a profile, browse, delete. And I’ll never know the profile was ever created with no track of online proof.

any fixes around this?! I don’t think you can lock safari settings. And there’s no where in restrictions to restrict a new profile being made in safari.

this is on iPhone by the way.

We just ran into this issue this past week - none of the screen time restrictions apply to the new Safari profile. I can’t see a way to turn off adding a new Safari profile. Definitely an issue that needs to be addressed. I’ll find where to report to Apple directly, but I also would love to know if/when someone finds a solution.

Could it be that the option in System Settings might play apart in what might be viewed in the profile, if Safe Content (Sensitive Content Warning) were turned on in in Privacy & Security?
