Downloads are blurry on MacBook air

I bought a MacBook Air through the education store for college because I needed a new good quality laptop. I’m still learning how to use it.

But the downloads and documents are all coming out blurry and I don’t know why? I did a transfer from my windows PC and my work is fine on there.

If anybody can help me, please let me know. Thank you!
