Need some clarity for the folder "ExternalEditSessions" on my Mac
This obviously has to do with the Photos app and here's the path of the folder in question:
/Users/[ME]/Pictures/Photos Library.photoslibrary/private/com.apple.Photos/ExternalEditSessions
There are currently 58 numbered folders within it containing images that I've likely edited from the Photos app with either Preview or Photoshop. Some if not all of these images I no longer have use for or they've been sent out into the world for their one-use purpose. One or two I checked are no longer shown in the recent photos folder within the app and have probably been deleted by choice. I went to the recently deleted folder and deleted those.
Does this ExternalEditSessions folder automatically clean itself out? Is there harm in manually dumping those numbered folders, each containing an image no longer needed?
