Sounds like a Notification coming from an app. Go to Settings > Notifications, and turn off or remove the Notifications from any recently installed app that could be providing the notification. If the Notification on your Lock Screen has an icon associated with it, you may be able to match it to the same icon you see in Settings.

What kind of “ads”? What you’re seeing are notifications from an app or apps you have installed on your phone.

Either disable the notifications for those apps or delete them.

This does not work. It was already turned off.

Apple you need to fix this, I do not want these ads!

I think I found the solution

turn on ads, then turn back off

then shut down phone and restart.

mine is gone now
