Blender on MacBook Air (2017)

Will blender be able to run properly on a Mack book air from 2017. I am currently looking for a MacBook but I don’t have a lot of money to be able to buy an M1 so I’m gonna have to settle for something older

When is it time to upgrade Mac Studio M1 Have had Studio M1 since it came out. Has worked well but now feels very slow on things.... I seem to read hints that an M4 version will appear early 2025(?), but trying to figure out whether to wait for that, move to the current latest Studio or just get an MacBook M4 Pro and essentially use it as a desktop... Should I upgrade my iMac 2013 to a Mac mini 2023? I'm using a late 2013 iMac 21.5" which is no longer supported by apple, browsers, software providers etc. etc. I'm thinking about buying the new Mac mini which is likely to have the new M4 chip, and be super fast so that I can continue to use my desktop screen and utilise the latest MacOs versions. My question - is this a good idea budget wise, or shall I wait for the 2023 mini to drop in price following the Oct launch which I've read is set for the 7th? [Re-Titled by Moderator]

Hey so I have a Macbook air 2017 and blender runs fine for what I need it to but there are times where it starts to run slow when I'm doing a project that requires more power.
