Ripped CDs - This song is not currently available in your country or region
I'm getting the dreaded message as shown in the above title. I don't subscribe to Apple Music or any streaming music service. I simply rip my CD's to Apple's music app on my M1 iMac and occasionally purchase music from the iTunes (Apple Music) store.
I recently ripped four CD's from a box set onto my iMac. All four ripped CD's show and play fine on the iMac, but when synced across my iphone (XSMax) and iPad (Pro 2021), two of the ripped CD's are grayed out and come back with the message shown in the title description.
I cannot begin to explain how infuriating Apple's music app is. Yes, I have gone through and reset the warnings, disabled VPN, signed out and back into my Apple account to no avail.
The only work around, which I do not like, is to turn off "sync library" on my iPhone and then manually sync to my iMac. Apple's Music then creates other issues on my iPhone and iPad, such as showing albums "twice" in the music listing.
In addition, under "Recently Added" on the Music app, it used to show ALL of my albums in the order that I added them, but no more. It only shows the last 60 or so albums.
I detest Apple's music app, but I just can't seem to find any other 3rd party app that will let me sync everything up from the iMac like the Music app does.
Has anyone found a solution to any of these issues, because it appears that Apple could care less about fixing any of this.
