Missing apps on iWatch after recent phone & watch updates

I recently updated my iPhone 14 Pro to iOS 17.1.1 and my iWatch to iOS 10.1.1 Upon doing so, I've lost some of the apps on my watch and cannot locate them in the iWatch app store. Does anyone know why and how to fix? Is this normal? Is there any way to reverse the update? I expect updates to be an improvement not a detriment and don't expect to waste more time and effort on my part to figure out what's going on and why. I'm very disappointed. Thank you in advance if you can assist me.

My issue was with my Ring Doorbell. It wasn't showing up as an app and I was afraid if I didn't have my phone with me I wouldn't get the notifications. Come to find out, I do still get the notifications because my watch is linked to my phone...even without having the app on my watch At the time I didn't realize I didn't have the actual app on my phone, however, it turned out to be a non-issue. I apologize, I probably should have removed my post...not sure I can, as I'm fairly new to this community. I hope this helps you.

We get 15 minutes to edit our posts, and then only the moderators can delete or edit a post after that. And generally that is only to edit out personal information or delete a post that violates the terms of service.

For all the rest, our typos remain as is.

I know the iPhone Ring app notices appear on the Apple Watch, i get them all the time. But I am fairly sure the Ring app does not have an Apple Watch companion app. At least I cannot find one for my Ring doorbell.
