Sim failure right after 17.1.1 update

Sim failure right after to 17.1.1 update.

The physical sim works fine on other devices.

Any solutions?

1.

Remove and reinsert the SIM card.

If it doesn't help visit your carrier, maybe the SIM card is damaged, ask for a replaced (new) card. Normally it is free.

Ask also to check if the SIM tray is bent, as even a tiny misalignment can cause the SIM card to not fully connect with the internal contacts in your iPhone.

after 17.1.2 my iPhone 15 could't detect the SIM although it was working fine with other mobiles. After trying all on/offs, restarts, network resets - I couldn't revive the SIM, and then had to switch over to e-sim (Airtel postpaid).

The process was easy and fast. within minutes the e-sim was activated and the physical sim deactivated. But if the carrier doesn't provide e-sim facility then the problem would have put me in trouble.
