Every time I open my Timers app, it opens with the full screen timer for 10 minutes, which I never use. So I have to cancel out of that instead of getting into the list of default or recent timers. How do I get rid of that annoying screen so that it doesn't bother me 10X every day?
OK, I figured it out. I had pinned that app, so if I unpin it, it comes up but not with a default timer taking over my entire screen. It still have recents, but at least I don't have that extra step of dismissing the 10 minute timer.

Make sure that the complication is set to Timer, not a value.
Timer app, scroll to the bottom. Tap edit and remove the timers you don’t want.
However it will annoy you again very soon as there is no way to turn off recents that I can see.

Well, I've deleted the timer app from that drag up selection, but I had to pick one with a time, so I picked 4 minutes which is what I normally use. But there was no way to select the generic app with no. default timing taking over the whole screen.
I'm not using any complications at all, so that's what I want to happen, but I'm using only the snoopy watch face which can't use complications. And it doesn't work like this with my wife's watch, and she is also only using the snoopy watch face. I have no other watch faces installed either.
The 10 minutes is not listed there as a recent, since I never use that timer. I just checked, and it's not there. Yet, if I want a timer, it always comes up as the default as 10 minutes taking my entire screen'
