PAGES - PERMISSION TO SAVE?!?
In a quandry - need your help, please!
Recently started having problems with Pages app. (Have MacBook Pro M1, OS Sonoma 14.1.)
When I try to save a Pages document I get this popup warning: The document "____" could not be saved. The file is locked. Do you want to save changes to it anyway?
Choices are then "Save Anyway" or "Cancel"
When I press "Save Anyway" I then get another popup warning that says: You don't have permission to save the file "____" in the folder "___". To view or change permissions, select the item in the Finder and choose File > Get Info.
The only choice is "OK"
When I then press "OK" the title of the Pages document now ends this way: " ___.pages -- Not Saved" and the popup balloon beneath it says, "The document could not be autosaved. You don't have permission."
So in the Finder I do as instructed; I choose the document, then File and > Get info.
There I see in the sidebar under "Sharing & Permissions" that I have the Privilege to Read & Write.
BUT ... WHAT ABOUT THE PERMISSION TO SAVE? Or Autosave, for that matter?
Friends, any idea how I can give myself permission to save or autosave?
Thank you!
