Photos Syncing with iCloud Paused - Mac Needs To Cool Down. Sonoma 14.x
Ever since upgrading to Sonoma 14.0 from Ventura ( and subsequent 14.1 ) Photos iCloud syncing, more often than not, is paused because my Mac 'Needs to Cool Down'.
This happens after a period of general use on the Mac, nothing strenuous, and the Mac never really feels hot and the fan isn't at all audible.
Eventually the sync happens and all is well. Interestingly other iCloud sync functions, such as calendar, continue even when Photos is paused.
Anyone seeing similar or have any suggestions. I've reset the SMC and run a Disk Utility check.
Thanks in advance.
