My email from Comcast (Xfinity) will no longer download on any of by Apple devices. The emails are received and can be viewed if I go to my Comcast account.

I have gone to Comcast and they said it is an Apple problem and my settings for Comcast are correct, but I still cannot receive or send any email from my Mac, iPhone, or iPad. However, if I go to my Comcast account, I can send and receive mail. But the email I send from my Comcast account to my computer and other devices, is not received.

Use the Connection Doctor> "show details" and go from there

Verify your server settings are correct in Mail>settings>Accounts

Turn off automatic, to see, edit, make changes...

if in doubt contact your Comcast/Xfinity provider for support

Update Your Xfinity Email Port Settings

For problem accounts the go to way to sort things out is to delete the account(s) from the Mail.app, then add it back.

Remove email accounts in Mail on Mac

Note—

IMAP accounts stay on the server, so no local loss, when you re-sync

POP accounts download and remove from the server—therefor save your inbox/sent box if you want them

“On My Mac" is just that, local folders you created and moved mail into. So no loss
