iPhone apps now only show on home page....all the rest are in App Library?

After updating to iOS 17, I noticed that all my 7 pages of VERY organized apps disappeared. Only the apps on the home page remain untouched. When I swipe to the next page, the App Library appears. WTF?

And it not just me...it happed to my assistant and my husband. I want my old pages with the old folders back!

Why would you do this?

Hi bigal, This is a feature update that unfortunately is an issue, It is worth checking where apps are downloaded to as default in settings

As Default, Apps Download to home screen, But this may have changed to app library only\

To add apps back to your homescreen drag them across and back onto the homescreen,

Everything as detailed is in this link

The new apps are downloading into a page 2. I was told by Apple Support that I would have to drag the apps from the app library back out of the library if I wanted to see them anywhere else. Again, WTF. Why? I had them where I wanted them and Apples new update wiped them all away. You should have a choice as to if you wanted that option or not. At this point, I just want my old app pages back.
