Google search became very tiny

When using my iphone 11 suddenly my google search became very tiny. After researching, answers given were to go into settings>safari>page zoom. This was not the correct answer. I found going to settings>safari>request desktop website that google.com was selected (green) I deselected it and problem was corrected. How it auto turned on is a mystery, but that was the issue. Not playing with the zoom.
