When it comes to a canceled or expired subscription, it is not possible to delete a subscription that you have canceled or expired.

This will disappear from your purchases after about a year.

You can hide purchases from the App Store, see -> Hide purchases from the App Store

Hide purchases from the App Store – Apple Support (UK)

See -> If you can’t download or update apps on your iPhone or iPad

If you can’t download or update apps on your iPhone or iPad – Apple Support (UK)

⤵️

Add a payment method

You may need to have a valid payment method on file, even if the app you want to download is free.

Add a payment method

  • If you want to change your card, add first the new card, then remove the old one.
  • or if you want to use your Apple ID balance, you need to set your Apple ID balance as your default payment.

If you still need help, get support from Apple directly -> Get Support or call Apple in your region see -> Contact Apple for support and service or check -> here for more support and assistance.

I still have cancelled and expired apps on my phone from FOUR YEARS AGO! So when the Apple support community says it is deleted after a year, that obviously is a LIE! There should be some means by which to permanently delete these items no longer in use. And although I have tapped the “Hide” button on the App Store they are all there to see on my Apple subscription page .What is wrong with you!!! Fix this!

Actually Raicya, they indeed do not disappear after one (1) year. It seems to be an issue for people as you can see, as well as many others who choose not to ask the question on this forum. Perhaps you could relay this technical “ glich” to the appropriate team so they can take action. Nothing worse for a company than to have many unhappy customers who in this day and age can influence others to steer clear of Apple issues and inaccurate statements and Apple products completely. I to have the same issue, however, I try to ignore it, but, APPLE shouldn’t.

Nobody posting on this forum works for Apple.

Here's how you let Apple know what you think --> Product Feedback - Apple

I doubt there is any "glitch". The glitch is in how people behave. If Apple let you delete purchase history, you can bet some people would later decide they wanted it after all, but it would be gone for good and then they would complain bitterly about Apple not being fair to them. You can't win.
