how to export a multipage note as a pdf file

I have a multipage note imported to the notes app onmy imac. how to i export it as a multipage pdf file.

i.e., when I export it, there is only the top page --useless.

iMac 24″, macOS 14.1

I came here looking for help, but I managed to get this to work by doing the following:

In the context menu, or under edit, Copy the Note
In Preview "New From Clipboard"

That produced a 4-page PDF file that I needed. I agree it should export it to a multi-page PDF, and this is a bug, but this work-around worked for me.

There is a drop-down menu at the top of the picture. Select Open attachment.

You can also drag the PDF to a folder or the desktop by grabbing the grey border at the bottom.

I scan a document. Today I finally got someone to show me how to crop the document scan on the iphone.

Not very convenient; it would be much better to be able to crop on the computer, where I could use a mouse/trackpad--which is more accurate--but so it goes.

After Airdropping the multipage note to my iMac, the remaining question is how to export the multipage note as a pdf from Notes on the iMac so as to save it as a multipage pdf file.

When I try to print the multipage note, the Notes app on the iMac decides there is only one page--the top page.

Not so useful.

I don't know what is the type of content you have, but I have a note with a lot of text (entered manually) and a few pictures, and it correctly exported to a 6-page PDF file.

How did you import it and what is it made of?

I have multiples notes in a folder in the Notes app. I would like to export all these notes as a single pdf file. When I select all the notes in the folder and use the export option, only the first note is exported as a pdf.

The docs are not there as scanned pdfs. they were imported into Notes using Scan Document.

I.e., they are not there as Scanned PDF in Notes; the dropdown menu you show is not present.

there is NO file type listed--not pdf, not anything

there are, say, 20 notes.

if I select them all, then click on Export as PDF from the File dropdown menu at the upper left, only the first is exported to the pdf file.
