With the latest update Hold to Dictate isn’t working within any apps. When I press and hold the microphone button on the remote, a yellow dot appears near “Hold to Dictate” in app…. But then Siri pops up and tries to take over. Nothing ends up dictated to the app search box.
I’ve tried many apps, all the same.

It was annoying me too...then I found a post on Reddit saying it's by design! Press once and release...dictate works. Hold down, Siri pops up! Frustrating that this behaviour has changed, but press once and release now has dictation working for me again.

I don’t mind it if the ‘end of dictation’ detection is good. I often find it not working well in noisy environments. So for me, hold to dictate is preferable.
The issue here is that the prompt still says “Hold to dictate”, while it should say “Press” or “Click”.
Yep me to. This is happening on all 3 of my Apple TV boxes, really annoying.
