When using my iPhone 15, I try to add a photo to notes from my photo library, nothing happens. I select the photo I want and hit done, but the note remains blank. But, when I take a photo from the camera it will insert. How can I get photos from my photo library to insert into Notes?

Thanks for the suggestions in the thread but....
I was never able to make the camera icon in the notes app work.
I select photos and then "add" but no result.
I had to resort to pasting photos individually.
Thank you, but I know how to add the photo (in theory), it’s just that nothing happens when I try to insert it.

Nowhere in the process I described is there any action “hit done”.
Sorry, the wording is “Add,” not done.
Yes, this works! I guess this is a good work-around. Thank you I didn’t think of that.
I'm happy to know it worked! So practically the one that doesn't work is when you tap the camera in the menu and select choose photo or videos is it correct?
