Troubleshooting AirDrop Issue:
Three things to try from here…
1. Start with updating both devices to the latest-compatible Operating System:
2. Restart your iPhone:
Go Here: Restart your iPhone - Apple Support
If no success…
3. Single-Out this User:
Create a new Administrator user, and then try this once more. If you don’t get this error, then it is an issue with the user itself. If you still get this error, then it is an issue within the entire macOS, itself.
Then…
4. Contact Apple Support:
Give Apple Support a call. Show them this thread, along with your entire screen, so they can see this firsthand, from YOUR perspective. Report back what they say.
