Podcast headphone control

When using headphone double click to fast forward, the podcast playback speed remains at 2x speed instead of returning to normal playback speed. I have to go to the podcast on the phone to return the podcast to normal speed.

This change occurred with iOS 17 update. Anyone else experiencing this?

Apple Podcast app rewinds the podcast after pause and un-pause/play When I resume playing a podcast after pausing - it seems to back the podcast up. Sometimes only 10 or 15 seconds - and sometimes as much as 90 seconds or even more. It's really annoying if you've just done a quick pause from earbuds to check something - the phone is out of easy reach stowed away - and you have to listen to the content again a second time after just hearing it! I can't find a setting for this anywhere and it's only just started doing this a few weeks ago. iPhone 13 on iOS 16.5

Hi: I jut got a set of beats flex to replace my klipsch earphones, and hve the same problem as tom above - has anyone found a solution?
