Camera LUT's Bug?

I bought a Mac Studio M2 Ultra and copied a few of my Final Cut libraries from my MacBook Pro M1 Max over to the Studio. When I opened the libraries, most of the clips said "Missing Camera LUT".

Then I remembered - of course! I need to download the LUT's for the specific cameras (like a Canon r5) or camera systems and install them under the Camera LUT dropdown menu in the inspector, where I've been using camera LUT's for a while.

The issue is that if I select "Add Custom Camera LUT" and select a LUT I've downloaded (and used on my MacBook 100x before) or any LUT, it doesn't install it.

Even more confusing, if I select "Reveal in Finder" (picture below), which is supposed to open up the folder where the LUTs live, nothing happens. Nothing. On my MacBook, the folder opens up no problem. But on my new Mac Studio, nothing happens. So I can't install LUTs and I can't see where they are.

I know they are located in the Library/Applications/ProApps and so on...but even if I go to that folder through Finder and add the LUTs, they don't show up in the inspector under Camera LUTs! Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks again Terry. I just went ahead and reinstalled MacOS Sonoma 14.1.1.

For anyone who might have this problem in the future, I didn't completely solve what the issue was but I am fairly sure it had something to do with iCloud. Strangely enough I had luts stored in my iCloud account and the first time I ran FCPX it may have confused itself with those files. When I reinstalled MacOS I made sure not to include those folders and it works fine now.

Hey Terry, it sure is. That was one of my first thoughts too! Doesn't help.

I'd give FCP access to my bank accounts if I thought it would help :-)

I have to think it's something about disk access or something. The strange thing is I can use the Custom LUT effect and install LUTs in that folder BUT the Camera LUTs folder is much more valuable to me because I want to add batch LUTs to camera files all at once.
