New iOS watch update

The side button gave recently opened apps. It no longer does that. How can I now display recently opened or regularly used apps?

With watchOS 10 you now double-click the Digital Crown to open the App Switcher to view your most recently used apps, or switch from one app to another. . For more info, see:

Thank you. Double clicking the crown is much more cumbersome than the way it was but at least I now know where to find the recent apps. I have yet to see any value to the latest “update”.
