i phone old model is disabled . Can it be opened for using to make and receive calls only

Hello~ If it’s disabled and locked to another Apple ID you will never be able to unlock it unless the prior owner if someone you can contact. Return it if you can or just keep it as a souvenir. Even if you could unlock it …it will not work on a 4 G network. Good luck and take care.
