iMessage randomly quit recognizing my phone number. I have tried everything suggested by apple including calling my cell phone provider and it still doesn’t recognize phone number.

if you truly did everything on this list If you can’t turn on or sign in to iMessage or FaceTime on your iPhone - Apple Support
What did Apple support say when you contacted them?

And they didn't do any troubleshooting step with you? Just told you it was your service provider?

NO what?
No trouble shooting besides checking my number. Said everything looked OK.
I have tried all of these suggestions and iMessage will still not activate using my phone number. It has in the past but all of a sudden stopped.
