itunes freezes

itunes freezes

iTunes continues to freeze on my laptop when editing playlists; of late, it happens just listening to playlists. Only on my HP laptop with Windows. I have seen this is a problem that many others are having. Any fix in yet?

Try holding down ctrl+shift as you launch iTunes which opens it in its safe mode. This should perform some housekeeping on the library, which may potentially help. If you have third party AV software exclude the iTunes folder from real-time scanning.
