Again. You miss my point. Ask the people around you if they enjoy the tones. I understand it’s the Apple way. The tones serve no purpose

That's correct. There is no setting to stop the sound when you type a number to make a phone call. To my knowledge, there never has been a setting for this.
Well, if you don't want the tones when you dial a number, you can quickly mute the phone while you dial, then unmute the phone. The dial tones have never been an issue to me, but if they are to you, this is at least a way you can mute them while dialing a number.
I have system sounds low on my iPhone. It doesn't effect the call volume when speaking with someone. So people around me aren't bothered at all.
Go to Settings > Sounds & Haptics > Change with Buttons and turn that off. You can then turn the volume down on the side of your phone, but call volume will not be affected.
Dear All, can anyone please let me know if we have come across any solution for muting the keyboard sound in iPhone 15 plus. My OnePlus device which is 1/3 the price of iPhone has the option to mute the keyboard sound but the high-end iPhone 15 plus doesn’t 😁
Could be a bug bro or something like that maybe you should try to reset your phone maybe that’s the problem?
I seem to remember I was able to do this on my iPhone 11 but it doesn't surprise md.. It myst be the apple way to be rude. I was probably thinking of my droid
thanks
You can always use the Mute button or turn the volume down all the way before you dial a phone number.
True and I have. But it mutes all. What purpose does having the toned sound serve except to annoy people
I understand. It’s the Apple way. I must adjust
I suppose it is 😉 I've never owned an Android, so to me, this is just how it is and honestly not an issue.
Understand. To me it is as discourteous. As using speaks all the time. Thanks for the info
From what I have gathered this is a design “feature”. To ensure the phone is obnoxious as possible. All my droids were mutable
