Hotspot not connecting to TV I am trying to connect my iPhone to a Pioneer Xumo smart TV via the hotspot. It shows my iPhone and I select it as my network. I enter the network name and password and it shows it is connected to the TV but says there is no internet connection. I’ve tried setting it up manually with the same result. Yes, I have an unlimited data plan. I do not have any cable or other internet service. Any suggestions? Thank you.

does smart tv use hotspot data if on antenna channel For ease of use I would like to leave my hotspot hooked to my smart tv for the rare time I want to stream. If the tv has joined my hotspot but I am watching an antenna channel does it use data?
