iPhone overheating and draining battery

Last few days my iPhone 7 has been overheating and burning up the battery. I have tried restarting it but this does not help. It is in the same conditions as always, nothing new. No new apps. Auto updates are on so it may have updated the OS. Its on 15.7.9.

Hello Firebird28, Have you tried going to Settings > Battery > scrolling down and seeing that app that is using a lot of your battery power. Normally it is the first app shown. Knowing which app is taking all your battery power will help you on the corrective action to take.
