I highlighted text in Pages but now want to get rid of it EASILY - can this be done?
New to Pages and having a heck of a time with something that should be simple. I highlighted text in a document (not in a comment), using the Insert/Highlight menu command after being unable to find something similar to Word's highlight tool. After doing quite a bit of work with the doc, I decided I wanted to unhighlight some of the passages, but can't find a toggle-back-to-unhighlighted kind of function. I don't want to go through multiple steps to do something that should be easy.
One uneasy workaround I found is to copy/cut the highlighted text, then "paste and match style" it into another section of my document between unhighlighted text, then re-copy and repaste the now-unhighlighted text back where I want it. But this is waaay too many steps. Sheesh.
Saw another comment similar to mine and a responder recommended going into the instructional manual for Pages. I did so but there was a paragraph with multiple steps explaining how to unhighlight text. I tried following the steps but got confused and gave up. I'm busy, I'm in a hurry, I want to find something that works as easily as Word's highlight tool. Can't believe this doesn't exist in Pages, which so far has been nice to work with, other than this problem.
Any suggestions?
Thanks!
