My watch (7th edition) no longer shows resting heart rate at the watch face. There’s just a blank space, but when I press it, heart rate app opens.
Low heart rate notifications still works and the overall monitoring does to.
I’ve tried rebooting the watch, toggle/untoggle heart rate in settings. Both watch and iPhone are updated to the latest software version.
Any ideas?

You're not alone, mine is doing the same thing since the update. I've seen other post similar where 14,000 people hit "me too" so hopefully they roll out a hot fix asap. Its driving me nuts.

Have you tried removing the compilation from your watch face via the watch app on your iPhone and to re-add it to see if the issues persist?
Just did. Same result. Whenever I edit the watch face, I can see the resting heart rate in compilations. But when edit mode is off again, it disappears.
