Photos cropping tool does not work right in latest update! Can not just crop a side or a top, wants to shrink the whole photo? Am I doing something wrong?

Just trying to crop a photo, but with today's update it wants to bring in sides too? what's up?

MacBook Pro 13″, OS X 10.10

What aspect ratio do you have set in Photos? Select Freeform and you can drag any side it by itself:

Thanks, I found that out. The update must have reverted in back to Original
