Unable to charge my iPhone or iPad using my USB C 2 meter

Suddenly my USB C 2 meter cable won’t charge my iPhone or iPad. I have three different 2 meter cables and none charge. If I plug in a 1 meter cable it works. Anyone else experiencing this?

I have gotten a braided 2m USB-C cable and it doesn’t look damaged from the outside and I only had it for about 2 months before it didn’t charge my stuff anymore.

When I plug it in it charges fine for about 10 seconds before it spontaneously doesn’t give charge anymore.

I have also tried with multiple other devices and they won’t take a charge as well

This happens on both ends of the cable. There were also no signs that it was breaking. The issue appeared basically spontaneous.

Hi there Yamil,

If you are unable to charge your devices with a particular cable, first see if this happens with multiple power adapters and power outlets as well. This will help to isolate the cause of this issue.

If this continues with multiple power adapters and power outlets, reach out to Apple Support next. They would be the best equipped to look into your available options going forward. Contact them here: Get Support

Cheers!
