Google search results have scrambled text in safari.

I recently updated macOS to Sonoma, and since the update all google search results pages have scrambled text, as well as some other google pages(See below). It's only google pages, and only in safari (Chrome is fine).

I can't find a solution anywhere other than it having something to do with the "Roboto" font causing a conflict, and that was in 2020, mainly affecting Chrome and other Google apps.

I did have Roboto installed via Adobe Fonts. So I went and deactivated it. Sadly it did not resolve the problem.

Is this a safari issue or a google issue?
