If it allows you to check status, start the car, etc while the car is off, yes it would be able to connect to the vehicle. I believe Tesla was one example I have seen posts about a mystery Bluetooth connection.
Yes I I got a new vehicle, but that was 3 months ago
Did you download an App associated with the new vehicle? If so, this is most likely the mystery Bluetooth connection.
