iPhone saying "unavailable" and I forgot my password, what should I do?

If you have forgotten your passcode, you will have to erase your iPhone and hopefully, you have a backup you can use when you restore it.

Click here and follow the instructions. Restoring the iPhone requires plugging it into a computer with iTunes installed, or a Mac running Catalina or newer.
