Wi-Fi calling option doesn’t show up

My carrier just announced that they are offering Wi-Fi calling. Why can’t I find that option to turn it on. I’m running iOS 17.0.3 on an iPhone 13. I’ve looked every where including phone settings and cellular settings. The option isn’t available.

If the option does not show up, there are a few possibilities.

  1. They have not yet activated it on your line.
  2. A carrier update may be required. Sometimes the carriers push those out independently, sometimes they are bundles with iOS updates. You may have to wait for the next iOS update before it will appear.
  3. If you are using an unsupported carrier, this feature may not be available to you.
