I bought an iPhone 14 Pro Max from Dubai and the phone was non-activated, after purchasing the phone and logging in with my ID, the phone coverages showed expired, and the date of purchase showed April 1978. I purchased 27 Sep 2023. Anyone plz tell me how to update my phone's correct purchase date and how to start my phone's coverage

It means it was sold to the original buyer or the store from which you purchased as is - without warranty from Apple. These have the date Apple was founded April 1978 I believe. These are often old demo models or the original buyer agreed with Apple to purchase the phone without warranty.

From where did you purchase the phone? If from Apple then you’ll need to visit a Genius Bar or contact Apple direct.
