Shearing in the in the I Claud

This is an Apple board, but I know a bit about Canon's.

I assume you mean a Rebel T7i.

If you are trying to use a USB cable, make sure the wifi functions are off.

Then if you plug the camera in, windows should recognize it and allow you to download the photos.

If that has issues, you can get a card reader. Your computer may already have one. That will appear as a disk and allow you to transfer your images.

What camera?

What device? Mac? iDevice?

With a cable?

Download to *where*? what does iCloud have to do with it?

Generally, you just attach your camera with a USB cable, and Image Capture will open and let you import into Photos, but there can be a lot of variation.
