why do I always get this " alpha_search ". Cannot get rid of it from my MacBook Pro 2016

When I try open up a link, this will appear on the new blank tab.

Google Redirects to Bing with Safari Using Safari vs 16.5 browser on mac book pro, os ventura 13.4. General searches at google.com (my default page on safari) result in a redirect to Microsoft Bing. I had to reinstall my operating system a couple of weeks ago. Since that time I have encountered this issue. Don't remember downloading anything -- unless it was from a trusted web site -- but I guess I must have. I would like to correct this problem. Would appreciate any guidance you can offer. Thank you.

Is appears you have unwittingly downloaded or allow to download a piece of Malware which is causing this issue
