Is mac a good choice for catia, siemens nx and ansys?

Hi, my battery of windows laptop is not enough for lesson hour. First lesson laptop shuts down. So i think to buy macbook pro 14 inch. System features are m2 pro, 16gb ram and 512gb ssd. I will buy it for communication engineering. I am using catia, siemens nx and ansys. For vm, is 16 gb ram enough? Are these features are enough for me ? And what are your advice for my situation? I do not have very much information about macos system. I used windows so far.
