Corsair keyboard not working on 1 Macbook Pro M2

I have 2 Macbook's Pro M2 2023 that are identical, same OS, same specs and everything, i have a USB Corsair keyboard connected to both of them in one of the macs the Windows Key suddenly stopped working but in the other one it works just fine without any issues since it's a M2 I have no way of reseting the memory with Opt + Cmd + R + P.

Also for some reason in any of them i'm able to log in with my password if I use the built in keyboard, i get a wrong password error but if i use the USB keyboard I can log in just fine, I try setting the password again from the built in keyboard but once i restart the same error occurs.

I can't change the device selected but they are Macbooks Pro M2 14" 2023 with Sonoma 14.0

MacBook Pro 16″

I had the same problem, with a corsair K60 keyboard.

Turned out it was a corsair keyboard issue.

The steps I've followed:

1.- Disconnect the keyboard

2.- Hold the "ESC" key

3.- Plug the keyboard while holding the "ESK" key and wait about 5 seconds

4.- Release the "ESC" key

I hope it helps someone

Apologies... I misunderstood.

Have you installed any keyboard or utility software that arrived with the Corsair hardware? If so, you may find that to be interfering with the proper operation of the OS and the keyboard.

Do you have installed any anti-virus, clean up, speed up, optimizing or VPN software on the Mac? If so, disable or uninstall any of that per the publisher's instructions, restart the Mac and reevaluate the issue.

See if the problem still happens in Safe mode (press and hold the shift key down at startup). It can take much longer to safe boot (5 min) so be patient.

How to use safe mode on your Mac - Apple Support

Safe mode very often corrects weird software behavior by forcing the OS to do cache clearing and other housekeeping. When you're in safe boot, the machine will not be at its best performance, especially with graphics, but that's expected.

Does the problem persist while in Safe mode?

Often not required, but consider allowing the Mac to "soak" in Safe mode for an hour to allow maintenance routines and processes time to complete, then exit safe mode by restarting your Mac normally and re-evaluate the issue again.
