How do I disable airplay?

I want to play Amazon music to my Sonos speakers but I can't until I disable Airplay.

I use my HomePod with Apple Music which locks in Airplay.

I stream from my iPhone 12.

Apple TV 4K, tvOS 16

Hello Chaswes5, Have you tried the Settings > General > AirPlay & Handoff > Automatically AirPlay > Never.

Airplay audio without apps interrupting I’m streaming music to 3 audio devices using airplay, all good. I then browse twitter or Facebook and the audio from every bloody video is sent to my stereo and HomePods, replacing the music I WAS listening to! Basically when I use airplay, my phone is unusable if I want to continue to listen to music. How do I set apps to NOT play audio over AirPlay? And just play their audio on my iPhone ????

Why is my iPhone using airplay with my HomePod Since the update to 16.4, it seems when I play Apple Music on my HomePod mini, it is using airplay from my iPhone rather than just using the HomePod’s wi-fi connection. Anyone else noticed this?
