iPhone 14 Pro max heating up, and showing huge battery draining.

iphone 14 PM, with less than a year has fallen to 93% battery health, where my iPhone 11 is still at 88 after three and a half years of usage. The phone is also heating up on regular charging, and on regular using. I am also not getting enough screen on time, I am a regular normal user, no heavy usage, yet I have to charge my phone twice to thrice a day..

Note: the device mentioned below is iPhone xs, that was added by mistake. The issue is with my iPhone 14 Pro max now running iOS 17.0.3

Hi rayyankhaleel,

Your battery health and your daily battery life aren't directly related in the way that you're describing. Battery health refers to its lifespan, and your daily battery life and charging are for how long it lasts on each charge.

Your battery health is normal and your device requires no attention for the battery at this time if it has 93% health. Your iPhone is expected to retain 80% of its original capacity after 500 complete charging cycles. 93% means it's still doing very well. Learn more here:

If you have to charge your iPhone multiple times per day, it's because the apps you use and have installed are draining the battery. Find which apps are draining the battery and we can provide some recommendations from there. Here's how to see what's used your battery:
