My JBL Go 3 speaker unit doesn't connect to iPhone 15, but it works on iPhone 12
to connect to a new device one needs to put the speaker into pairing mode and make sure it does not have an active connection to another device at the given time
You need to reset the speaker. This short video helped me solve the issue:
