Apple Music UI not updating

Once ios 17 went out, the first thing I was excited about was the new apple music ui, but it’s been weeks already but my apple music ui is not yet updated, still the ui looks like the old one. I tried to searched it online on how to fix it, tried to delete and reinstall my apple music etc. but it didn’t fix any of my concern. Can someone please help me out. Thanks

Hello Mj323_,

To start, you'll want to add more specific detail to your post. What does "Apple Music UI not updating" mean? Are you getting some sort of error in the Music application about an update? Are you unable to open the Music application? You mentioned iOS 17, are you talking about some issue updating that software on the device? Etc.

Details like these will help give the community a better idea of what you're seeing so members can provide more relevant responses.

Are you seeking assistance with one of the new Music features in iOS 17? Of so, which one? (SharePlay, Collaborate on playlists, Favorite songs playlists, Apple Music sing with continuity camera, Crossfade between songs or Song Credits?)

New features available
 with iOS 17

Cheers!

Hey Mj323_,

If you open Settings and navigate to Music, you should see the option to enable "Animated Art" toward the bottom. You may note the fine print that says, "Playlist, album, and artist pages, albums art in now playing, and other animated cover art will automatically play."

However, when you tap on "Animated Art" you are taken to the next page that gives you the options of "On, Wi-Fi Only, and Off" with more fine print at the bottom of this page. This page outlines that you will not see the animated art with a low battery or poor network connection.

Make sure you have "On" selected, your iPhone is charged over 50%, and you have the strongest possible network connection. Based on your screenshots, your Wi-Fi and cellular data connections may not be strong enough to support the high speeds necessary for animated artwork.

You may also consider connecting with Apple Support to look into more advanced troubleshooting. You can find ways to do this from the Get Support portal in most countries.

Kindest Regards.
