I am separated from my husband and I know he set up
my iPhone and iCloud originally. I did a factory reset last year and I think it mentioned my husbands mobile is connect to my iCloud. Is this the case?
if so please can I get him or his mobile removed please

Go into Settings, click on your Apple ID, scroll down to list of devices associated with your Apple ID. If you see his device, click on it, scroll down and delete it. If you don't see his device then he has no access to your iCloud.
Also, it appears that your iPhone's system software is outdated. After deleting unwanted devices from your account click on General> software update> and follow the prompts.
Finally, if he set up your iCloud account that means he had your password to it. You should change your Apple ID password. It is the same password for iCloud too. Do this after you update your system software. That will keep him out.
