Will Microsoft Defender interfere with Apple OS protection on my iMac, iPad Air4, and/or iPhone 13 Pro

In renewing my MS 365 for my desktop iMac I set up MS Defender. It asked for other devices so I downloaded to my iPad and iPhone. Does this interfere with the OS protection on my devices? I have gotten 2 text as follows:

Your device is vulnerable because of these three apps. Ensure your safety by uninstalling them without delay:

there is no name or identifier, just a phone number, which has no info when I click on it. I am thinking it is a scam but it now has me concerned about interference with OS security.

The texts you've gotten are a scam. Delete them and don't click on anything

Your question about your security is another question and that one is on a whole different level. macOS and iOS don't need any extra security like defender or virus scannners. These programs will interfere with macOS'es and iOS'ses built in security. They will do nothing extra, only slow down your devices.

I reccommend against using any external anti virus software on macOS and iOS devices

+1 to WheelieNick, delete MS Defender from the Applications folder and be done with it.

removed! somewhat of a challenge...still learning Mac OS. Can't just click and drag...followed directions for removing from a folder. Thanks for your help!
