my Apple watch series 6 is stuck on the grid – list page and cancel doesn’t work. How can I get it unstuck and working again?

The quick and dirty solution is a forced reset. That's Apple Speak for a reboot. Simply press and hold the Digital Crown and the Side Button (together, about 10 seconds) until the white Apple logo appears, then release the buttons and let your watch restart.
