I have optimized battery charging on but my MacBook always charges up to 100%, how can I get that feature where charging switches to On Hold at 80%?
I'm using the latest macOS Sonoma, and never got this feature even during the past versions of macOS.
MacBook Air 13″, macOS 14.0
How long could that take? I have it plugged in every morning 9am-5pm
Optimization learns your habits. Once that learning is complete, the battery charging logic takes it to 100%.
I normally leave my 2020 MBP plugged in. I have battery life optimization on It used to charge to 80%. That was good.
I am running 14.2.1 (23C71). Since I installed it a few days ago the battery charge has remained at 100%.
Why does it not go back to 80%?
How can I make it revert to 80%
